Role: Creative Direction: Concept, Art Direction, Copywriting and Film Directing.

Inspired by last year's debate around the lack of coverage for women’s football prior to the 2022 Euros and the need for more representation of the sport in the media to inspire the next generation of female athletes.

I created a philosophy around the championing of women’s football from the media/press POV. Which led to myself and Jade Keshia Gordon creating a movement, photoseries and exhibition showcasing the joy, excitement and anticipation that football fans have about the 2023 Women’s World Cup. Our project has been supported by Beats By Dre, ThisFanGirl, Campari Group / Appleton Estate Rum, Sole Supplier and Stylist Magazine

The Photoseries

We captured our hero talent in their own football jerseys outdoors, in order to get their raw thoughts and predictions on the women’s game.

The Films

The hero talent films featuring Angela, Akhina, Jahnay and Kashay’s POV on the WWC23’ and future of Women’s Football. I was the Director, and don’t judge me it was my first time too!

The Event

We hosted a public exhibition at Queen of The South on Thursday 10th August 2023, later followed by a panel discussion to explore this philosophy alongside those who are currently championing women’s football.
